Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator

Prince’s Trust International are working with Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator to deliver a digital employability skills programme for young people in Kigali, Rwanda. The programme will be divided into online live lessons, group discussions, and digital training modules.

Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator is a not-for-profit social enterprise, working in Rwanda and South Africa. They provide solutions to address youth unemployment in the region, working with governments, private sector and young people to develop their programme offer.

Building on Prince’s Trust International’s Get Into Programme, and Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator’s Bridge Programme, young people will undertake four weeks of intensive English language acceleration, alongside general employability training including modules on professionalism and problem solving.

Young people will gain confidence in their English communication, learn how to take a solution-oriented approach, get support on writing their CVs, and practise job interviews. Post programme, young people will receive support to strengthen their opportunities to move into further education, work shadowing, internships or employment.
