Prince’s Trust International 2022 Impact Report
We are excited to share the results of our annual Impact Report with you. This showcases our work with young people and our invaluable partnerships around the world.
Earlier this year, we conducted research into young people’s attitudes to the future of work. This found that around 1 in 3 young people globally feel their education does not provide them with enough skills for working life.
Our work seeks to prepare young people to succeed in their careers. As the labour market continues to evolve with new opportunities in sectors such as green and digital, there is an emerging gap between the skills that young people have, and the skills that they need to thrive in the world of work.
Thanks to our incredible partnerships, young people across the world are continuing to benefit from employability, education and enterprise programmes, ensuring that they develop the skills needed to build the futures they want.
In 2021/22, we reached more young people than ever before – almost 19,000, an increase of over 75% from 2020/21. Through our global network of partners, our programmes are now present in 17 countries. We have recently launched work in several new countries, including Egypt, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania and St Lucia.
Looking ahead, we aim to maintain our reach and continue to deepen our impact at scale. To do so, we will continue to convene partnerships between government, businesses and civil society, creating pathways into the world of work for young people.
