Caribbean Hub

Prince’s Trust International has been working with partners in the Caribbean since 2016. In 2020, we sought to learn and explore how we can expand our efforts to support the youth sector in the region. After a year of meeting, listening and reflecting, we have developed the Caribbean Hub.

The Caribbean Hub aims to connect, localise and strengthen our efforts in the Caribbean with the ultimate aim of ensuring every young person has the chance to succeed. The Caribbean Hub focuses on training, networking, programmatic support and organisational effectiveness support.

Over the course of the month of June/July, we will be rolling out our initial training offer. These training topics were chosen in accordance with the results from the Training and Networking consultation undertaken in March. During which, we administered an online survey to over 61 youth-focused organisations across Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The training and networking offer pilot will be delivered in phases and we will be taking time in between each phase to listen, reflect and understand, so that we are able to improve and expand our offerings in each phase. We will be offering 3 different topics across 4 sessions in June and July.
