Paraskevi (Vivi) Galani

Vivi is currently the Vice-President & General Manager, Product & Marketing in Global Network Services within American Express (AXP). Prior to this role, she managed a number of EMEA bank and acquiring partnerships for AXP and led the Merchant Services EMEA Sales Effectiveness team and the One Phone Channel in Madrid.

Prior to Amex, Vivi worked for Raytheon Technologies – Pratt & Whitney (P&W) in the US and France, selling jet engines and services to big European airlines such as Swissair, Air France and Alitalia. She is a graduate of P&W’s Leadership Associates Program.

Vivi earned an MSc in Finance from the London Business School, an MBA in Operations from Purdue University, an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and is an Electronics Engineer. She is a self-declared lifelong learner.

She serves as a Director on the American Express Payments Europe Board. She is fluent in Greek, English and French, with basic knowledge of German and Spanish.

Vivi lives in London with her husband, Kostas, and has an 18-yr old son, Nicholas who is a freshman in Engineering. She loves learning and deciphering languages, watching tennis and dining out. She is passionate about nurturing female talent and creating connections. She was honored with the 2021 Women in Payments EMEA Award for ‘Advocate for Women’.
