The Prince’s Trust appoints Joan Armatrading MBE as Trustee
Joan has been a dedicated ambassador and loyal supporter of The Prince’s Trust for almost 40 years. As a pioneering and influential British singer-songwriter and guitarist, she has supported the organisation in many different ways, including mentoring young people.
Becoming a Trustee will deepen her connection with The Trust yet further and bring a fresh perspective to The Prince’s Trust Council, at a time when young people need the charity’s support more than ever.
Prince’s Trust International appoints Will Straw CBE as CEO
Will joins the International Trust at a critical stage of growth for the charity. Established in 2015 and now delivering in 13 countries across the Commonwealth and beyond, Prince’s Trust International has been developing its digital delivery programmes to reach thousands of young people even during the very worst of the pandemic.
Will brings vast experience from the charity, public and private sectors to the position, as well as key knowledge and experience of international organisations including from his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Clearly, a global sight charity.
